Day 4: I think I'm losing feeling in my extremeties...

Workout: Chalean Burn Intervals & Ab Burner, Swim 200 yards, Run 15 minutes

This is where I'm too tired to say anything...
I'm so tired and we are about to go see the midnight showing of Harry Potter and because I don't want to be behind in my updates, I'm writing.

The Workout...
Chalean Burn Intervals is 46 minutes of pure hell.  No joke.  It's like "do this horrible impossible crazy cardio part for 2 minutes and then do a "recovery" weight lifting part.  But with light weights so it's practically like not doing anything at all!"  Except it's like torture. Torture, torture, and then some more torture.  And then Ab Burner is 10 minutes of Ab exercises, because apparently the first 46 minutes wasn't enough.  And then I had to sit in work training all day, so all my muscles stiffened up.  I'm such a baby.

After work, we went to the gym and swam 200 yards.  Now, that may seem like a lot until you realize that you can't lift your arms about chest high, so pulling through the water is misery.  Ok, I may be slightly exaggerating.  It was misery at first but then it felt like a nice stretch.  Then we timed ourselves putting our running stuff on over our swimsuits because we need to get faster at that or something.  Then we ran for 15 minutes and I contemplated chucking my Boyfriend into the river we ran over just so that I could have a reason to stop running.  I was glad I didn't, though, cause he's a good boyfriend (when he's not secretly trying to kill me with all this healthy crap).

The Food...
I made some shrimp and corn and rice for dinner.  It was tasty.  I also ate a bunch of other good stuff.  I try to eat every 2 hours during the day so that I don't overstuff myself at any given point in the day and get lethargic.

Feelings...
I was pretty sore, so I only worked out at like effort level 7 today.  I will need to push myself a bit harder next week after my dusty muscles get used to all this activity.  They tried to ply me with candy at work but I was able to thwart their efforts.  I will not be thwarted!!!

Day 5 Workout: Chalean Burn 3, Bike 6 miles

Jenn - Off to see the Harry Potter...
